FAQ
Why isn’t gig x up on the guide?
We try and get as many gigs on up on they guide as we can but inevitably, some gigs will fall through the cracks. The reason some gigs don’t make it to the guide could be due to a number of factors, the main reasons are sometimes they just don’t come to our attention or they come to our attention too late for us to get it on the guide in time. Other times we’re aware of gigs but we just can’t get it up due to our personal time availability. The guide is administered by volunteers who make zero money but do it as a contribution to the local live metal scene and as part of the local metal community. Any band or promoter that contacts us directly about an upcoming show gets priority.
What is your posting policy for mixed line ups?
We post gigs with mixed line ups if there’s a metal band on the bill.
An international tour has been announced, why isn’t it on the guide?
We often won’t put an international show on the guide until the tickets go on sale and ticket links are available. Sometimes this can be a couple of weeks after the announcement.
